Generally known as prickly pear or Panhandle, it is sceinetific name is Opuntia. Prickly pear species are found in abundance in the West and Southwest of the United States and throughout much of Mexico http://arizonacactus.net/Articles.php?action=detail&g=content1211745342

Going for a walk around Tucson can be hot, but not if you walk in the evening. I went for a walk to a local park and took a few pictures along the way. I left a bit after sunset so it was dark for most of my trip http://tucsonhikes.com/Articles.php?action=detail&g=content1206306243
