We spent some time in the big tents at the Gem Show at Tucson Electric Ball Park. Everyone was very friendly and plenty of sales were being made. Items for sale include; beads, wooden artwork, pottery, leather goods, finished jewelry, stones, artifacts, crystals and fabrics

Usually in Tucson if it does snow it is at night and it's gone as soon as the sun comes out. On Monday morning it was cold and cloudy, so the snow stayed a while. So here are some rare pics of snow in Tucson, AZ durring the day.

Snow covered everything and it was almost here to stay. Unusually by this time of the morning it would have been almost completely melted

We climbed A mountain overlooking Tucson, Arizona and took a few photos looking east over downtown Tucson, AZ. Sentinel Peak is 2,897 feet in altitude. The large letter A was built by the UofA in 1916 and is 160 feet tall and 70 feet wide. The mountain is a Park now and has a paved road that offers access to the bottom of the A.

The Plaza Colonial in north Tucson, Arizona is an example of interesting soutwest architecture. There is a prominent copper dome on the north east corner of the plaza, a fountain and a courtyard. Plaza Colonial has 8,000 square feet of retail space for offices and restaurants.
