It snowed in Feb 2009 on Mount Lemmon above Tucson, Arizona. We took a 4x4 Jeep up the mountain to review some gear and see some snow. We spent the day between 6000 and 7000 feet. We do not get a lot of snow in Tucson, so it was a treat to drive up and see these temporary views. We took these photographs on a Monday and the snow was all gone by Friday. We spent some time in the big tents at the Gem Show at Tucson Electric Ball Park. Everyone was very friendly and plenty of sales were being made. We climbed A mountain overlooking Tucson, Arizona and took a few photos looking east over downtown Tucson, AZ. Sentinel Peak is 2,897 feet in altitude. The large letter A was built by the UofA in 1916 and is 160 feet tall and 70 feet wide.
