We climbed A mountain overlooking Tucson, Arizona and took a few photos looking east over downtown Tucson, AZ. Sentinel Peak is 2,897 feet in altitude. The large letter A was built by the UofA in 1916 and is 160 feet tall and 70 feet wide. The mountain is a Park now and has a paved road that offers access to the bottom of the A.

It started snowing Sunday night. I let the dog out to see the snow, he was not real happy about the cold, but it wasn't quite rain. He didn't know what to make out of it, but I don't think he was too impressed by the look he gave me on the way back into the house.

The Plaza Colonial in north Tucson, Arizona is an example of interesting soutwest architecture. There is a prominent copper dome on the north east corner of the plaza, a fountain and a courtyard. Plaza Colonial has 8,000 square feet of retail space for offices and restaurants.
